Formal Motion: Following a request from Mikle Radzicki, and as reported a few times previously by the VP Chapters, it is moved that the Economic Chapter is transformed into a SIG, as it has no geographical characterization, rather it is clearly an interest group spanning over the whole SD Society.
Notes on supporting material: This has been reported as a suggestion for the Society and the PC already a few times in the last VP Chapters Reports over the last few years, so it seems the right moment to move it forward.
