- The Free Subscription Offer from Wiley
Proposal by Pål I. Davidsen:
In the last PC meeting, a number of responses were recommended to
the offer by Wiley to offer free copies of SDR to system dynamicists
who could not afford paying for membership. I propose as follows:
- I will announce the offer from Wiley at the Sunday PC meeting.
I will ask members of the PC meeting to nominate candidates,
names and addresses, of the people they nominate and a very
brief description of why they nominate a specific person. Any
member may nominate several candidates.
- I will propose an ad. hoc committee headed by Bob Cavana to
select the people that, in their opinion, should receive the
gift.
- We will execute the decision one way or another, - possibly by
asking one of our sponsors to finance the mailing of those
issues.
- Reports from VPs and Editor
All reports will be short and on the web ahead of the conference. The
reports will not be presented in the meeting and PC members are
expected to have read the reports prior to the meeting. Those who
report will entertain questions from the PC:
