Dear Dr Radzicki
We refer to the Agreement between John Wiley & Sons Ltd [“the Publisher”] and the System Dynamics Society [“the Society”] dated 22nd June 2004 relating to the above Work (“the Agreement”).
It is hereby agreed between us that the following provisions of the Agreement shall be amended as follows:
Under clause (7) ONLINE EDITION, please add new sub-clause (e):
(e) Digitizing of earlier back issues of the Review by the Publisher. Volume 13 (1997) is currently the first year with full-text of the Review in the Online Edition on Wiley InterScience. The Publisher will – at its own expense – create the necessary digital files to extend the backfile Online Edition carried on Wiley InterScience back to the first volume of the Review (volume 1, 1985). This includes digitizing and publishing volumes 1 to 6 inclusive of the Review online (published originally only by the Society itself), as well as digitizing and publishing volumes 7 to 12 inclusive (published originally by the Publisher on behalf of the Society but only in print format). As per clause 3(a) of the Agreement, the Society hereby appoints the Publisher to publish online, promote, sell and distribute these extra backfile volumes of the Review on behalf of the Society in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and the Publisher accepts such an appointment. The Society will provide the Publisher with print copies of back issues to create the necessary digital files.
The Agreement shall except as expressly amended herein continue in full force and effect without prejudice to any accrued rights or remedies of the parties.
All words and expressions contained in this letter shall have the same meaning as those contained in the Agreement unless the context should otherwise require.
Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing by signing and returning to Graham Russel at John Wiley & Sons Ltd the attached duplicate of this letter.
