Abstract for: AI Enhanced Systems Education in Learning Society with LEGO STEAM Curriculum

STEAM education has been globally emphasized for interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity and innovation. With Taiwan's national education framework and learning society policy, there is a need to integrate STEAM, SD, and LEGO curriculum for better implementation and social impacts. We propose an AI enhanced LEGO learning course with real world learning society in Taiwan, connected with Asia Pacific Ocean bay area. A teaching and learning framework and demo project application is reviewed and analyzed by educators and learners. The results suggest that the teachers and learners have more engagement with the better interactive activities. The participatory learning approach with the real learning society also improve the social participation and stakeholder engagement for community development. It is suggested to apply the proposed framework for social innovation and regional development with local governments and communities. The ecosystem comprising sustainable systems education, industry practices, and societal transformation would be able to drive positive feedback systems for sustainable development. AI is used for developing augmented scenarios with LEGO for real world learning environments.
