Abstract for: Supercharging Our Theory of Change for Equitable Health and Well-Being Globally

This presentation describes how the FASTBreak(TM) participatory mapping process was used to teach 20 individuals about systems thinking as they rewired their organizational theory of change and strategy portfolio. Participants drew on their experience and a briefing packet of key insights and issues in response to the prompt: What can we do to build and leverage social work power for equitable health and well-being nationally and globally? Responses were grouped thematically, behavior charts and causal maps were drafted, and a final theory of change was developed through storytelling and iteration.
