Abstract for: Determining Anopheles Mosquito Life Expectancy. A System Dynamics Approach.

The present paper explores a system dynamics malaria model from which we review both, the definition of the main variables involved in malaria transmission, and the model structure that links those variables. Taking the model as a background, we document the calculation of the life expectancy of infectious mosquitoes, and how this life expectancy is affected by the malaria prevalence in the area of analysis.
