Abstract for: Health and Wellbeing Impacts of Climate Change Interventions – an Integrative Review for Floods and Heat

This paper presents an integrative review exploring the health and wellbeing impacts of climate change interventions, focusing on the adaptation and mitigation strategies for floods and extreme heat. By synthesizing the findings from existing research, the study illuminates the complex causal pathways through which these interventions influence public health outcomes, underlining the critical interplay between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Health and Wellbeing) and 13 (Climate Action). This review critically assesses the balance between immediate benefits and potential long-term maladaptations, advocating for a more holistic understanding of the health implications of climate policies.
