Abstract for: Assessing the Impact of Co-Creation in Urban Development

We share our impressions and learnings from a successful proof of concept project with an "uninitiated" audience. This project is part of our journey from novice to practitioners of Systems Thinking and System Dynamics as part of our continuing education. We introduce the domain co-creation in urban development with higher levels of community engagement. Our work was conducted with a non-profit organization that organizes co-creation bottom up from the perspectives of citizens to co-create with municipalities and local governments as well as corporations. The main part summarizes the outcome of two years (mostly) voluntary work engagement: a CLD, a working model as proof of concept and lessons learned. Possible ways to continue this relevant work close the presentation.
