Abstract for: CHIMES : A tensor-Based python library for dynamical system modeling

CHIMES stands for "Core for Holistic Interdisciplinary Model for Ecological Simplexity". It is a Python-based open-source library made to prototype, analyze, and couple models from different frameworks or disciplines. At the center is a tensor management system optimized for multi-agent, multi-sector, multi-region models and parallel runs with a minimal formalism. Model files are Python files, easy to write and modify. The library includes numerous toolboxes: an interactive causal diagram representation of the model, RK4 solvers, interactive plots, saves management, uncertainty propagation, and sensitivity analyses, as well as a model base for ecological economics and self-organized systems.
