Abstract for: Sustainability Dynamics: Exploring the Green Supply Chain Challenges of Semiconductor Industry via a System Dynamics Approach
The semiconductor industry, as the foundation of global technology and electronic products, holds significant importance for environmental protection and corporate sustainability. Establishing and promoting a green supply chain within the semiconductor industry is not only a crucial aspect of ESG considerations, but also a great contribution to enhancing economic sustainability and corporate competitiveness. This research work proposes that the green supply chain challenges facing the semiconductor industry is best studied via a systems thinking and system dynamics approach. The model is to developed based on the concepts of whole life cycle thinking and ESG-extended version of balanced scorecard as well as on the insights in “World Dynamics”.
