Abstract for: Policy Assessment for the Advance of the Sustainable Development Goals in Angola

In this presentation, we explored the application of the iSDG Model in Angola, demonstrating its significant impact on policy formulation and stakeholder engagement. The model, integrating data from Angola’s National Development Plan, was presented to over 70 policymakers, offering a holistic understanding of the country's development challenges and opportunities. It facilitated informed decision-making, especially in crucial areas like environmental sustainability and economic diversification. This implementation showcases how system dynamics modeling can be effectively utilized in policy analysis and development, providing a valuable tool for policymakers to navigate complex socio-economic landscapes and drive sustainable development.
