Abstract for: Learn to Use ADMO to Analyze Problems in Nonlinear, Dynamic Models with Exogenous Variables

Important problems require reliable analysis of causes and of policy recommendations. The new ADMO method combines simulation and optimization for deep model analysis. The workshop gives a brief presentation of the basic ideas behind the method. We demonstrate the method applied to behavior analysis and policy improvement. Then the participants use the method on relatively simple models that they bring to the workshop. We answer questions and give guidance. We wrap up the workshop by sharing experiences.
