Abstract for: Enhancement of Burns algorithm

The paper is dedicated to the improvement of the Burns algorithm, which is intended to convert Causal Loop diagram to Stock and Flow diagram by quantities’ classification. Since the mentioned algorithm fails within the special structure of signed digraphs, new rules are suggested to enhance the algorithm. The rules are focused on rate-state relations. What is more, the rule takes into account quantities’ units of measure. Thanks to the proposed rules, the classification of quantities and the conversion of CLd to SFd are proceeded.
