Abstract for: Practical application of a system dynamics-based sustainability benchmarking in the building sector: Case of Affordable Housing

This work demonstrates how system dynamics modeling and simulation could be used in sustainability assessment and benchmarking in the building sector. It demonstrates the practical application of a how a benchmark scheme developed using system dynamics could be used to demarcate the sustainability performance of affordable housing projects in India and suggest improvements such that the segment could contribute significantly to the sustainable development goals of the country
