Abstract for: Hamlet Modeling in Classroom Workshop

This workshop aims to introduce participants to the recreation of the paper "Simulating Hamlet in the Classroom" by Hopkins (1992), as highlighted by Jay Forrester. Unfortunately, it has not been covered at ISDC Workshops and K-12 SD/ST workshops for the past decade. This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to integrate humanistic imagination with System Dynamics. Participants will work in teams to create different scenarios and find the simulation results. I will also share know-how on successful implementation experiences in South Korea since 2016. The workshop is suitable for educators, researchers, and anyone interested in SD and the intersection between creative thinking and engineering.
