Abstract for: The structure generating trends in the competitiveness of the furniture manufacturing ecosystem in Ocotlán México

The furniture manufacturing SMEs has been analyzed in México with an approach that seeks to find the factors that affect the competitiveness, and the group of companies has been seen as a cluster and not as a business ecosystem like in this work. There are opportunities for novel research in the furniture manufacturing sector in México, in Ocotlán City particularly, and considering the system as a whole and not only the competitive performance of individual companies and the system dynamics methodology can be used for the research and analyzing policies and trends.
