Abstract for: The Group Juggle Workshop: A Quick Intro to System Dynamics

In this workshop, participants will engage in a 5 minute group juggle exercise. This experience will then be used to demonstrate the application of System Dynamics. Participants will be introduced to variables, behavior charts, feedback loops, stock and flow modeling, and learning laboratories. The workshop will demonstrate how System Dynamics can be applied to generate insights that one might not identify using traditional problem solving techniques. The materials from this session will be available for licensing by participants to use with other in spreading systems thinking.
