Abstract for: Social systems lab: a systems thinking based initiative in Aotearoa New Zealand

There have been some significant shifts in how organisations understand and address such complex problems. Systems thinking approaches is one of them. Social Systems Lab (SSL) initiative of Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR), a Crown Research Institute (CRI) in New Zealand, aims to be a space where trans-disciplinarity, systems thinking, and multiple perspectives come together to collaboratively undertake problem structuring and identify systemic solutions to specific areas of work or research. The work in progress present the causal loop diagram of the logic model of the Lab and share the learning till date around the dynamics. We mainly hope to receive necessary feedback from the conference participants from their experience on progressing such initiatives.
