Abstract for: Personnel development at the Dutch Police

In this practitioners application we show a model in progress that describes the development of police personnel. The Dutch police is a large, complex organization with more than 60.000 emplyees and 123 different job types. The current model allows us to analyse and predict the behaviour of the personnel system. Dynamics of different job types show diverse behaviour because of varieties in careerpaths and recruitment strategies. The model outcomes will be made available to the end users in a python (PySD) dashboard.
