Abstract for: Pairing Artificial Intelligence (AI) with System Dynamics (SD) Modeling to Improve Crisis Management Training

This work in progress paper describes a proposed study of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) with System Dynamics (SD) modeling to improve crisis management training. As such, it is both a simulation development project as well as a traditional empirical (quantitative and qualitative) study of the effectiveness of using such simulations. To that end, the project aims to result in a “hybrid” simulation system that delivers enhanced training outcomes.
