Abstract for: Deep Learning at the Edge of Chaos: AI-driven development of SD simulations to train decision making in crisis management

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the capability to provide autonomy and flexibility to dynamic, multi-criteria decision making environments. We intend to explore the benefits, barriers and training effectiveness of employing AI tools to support simulation training in crisis management. To that end, this preliminary work includes development and testing of a simulation system that uses AI to support both design and use of scenario-based simulation exercises.
