Abstract for: Study on Cooperative Delivery Focusing on Delivery Times of Truck Drivers in Multi-story Buildings
As a problem of large-scale building in urban areas, the delivery time is likely to be long, because the horizontal and vertical moving distance for delivery would be long which may cause the congestion of freight elevators. As a method for solving such a problem, there is a cooperative delivery for reducing the number of drivers delivering to the tenants and improving the logistics environment in the building. However, there is a problem that the participation rate of cooperative delivery in the building is low because of low profits. Therefore, this study focused on the effect of shortening the delivery time by the cooperative delivery. The impacts of the time reduction such as the waiting time of the elevator, and clarified the relationship between the participation rate of the cooperative delivery and the delivery time. As a result, it became clear that the cooperative delivery in the building could reduce the waiting time of the elevator, which is part of the delivery time in the building. Additionally, as the effective measures to increase the participation rate of cooperative delivery in the building, it was shown that it is effective to reduce the parking fee for the cooperative delivery user.
