Abstract for: Patterning Models
Nowadays, computer modelling became more and more popular in many different areas, what leads to the demand of quick development of models with high quality. Since many people working in close areas or on similar problems, here and there they are building models which many have similar pieces and representing similar systems or events. This leads to the extra work and duplication of wide range of models’ pieces. Given article is focusing on presenting a method of models analysis that will help to identify common models patterns and as a result, can lead to building an open library of sub-models that can be re-used and applied in wide range of target domains. As a result, modelers will be able to focus more on problems they are solving rather than on re-implementing same pieces again and again.
