Abstract for: Optimum Virtual Machine Selection in Cloud Data Centre using MCDM: A Work-in-Progress Report

In cloud data centre, selecting virtual machine for job request is a challenging task because of multiple objectives for example saving energy, optimum utilization of resources like CPU and memory etc. The main objective of ongoing research is to propose optimum virtual machine selection algorithm based on Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM TOPSIS) for job workload assignment in cloud data centre. System Dynamics was selected as one of the key instruments in performing this research
