Abstract for: Market Sizing of High-Rise Elevators

Market sizing and forecasting are among the most popular system dynamics applications, especially when it comes to urban development. The challenge for this study is to develop a model for market sizing and forecasting, which is both valid and simple. Using the market of high-rise elevators as a case, we present our generic approach to do market sizing and forecasting using only historical market und GDP data, as well as the projection of future GDP development.
