Abstract for:Beta Blocker Titration in Heart Failure at the Point of Care: A Causal Loop Analysis

We developed an innovative use of existing electronic health record functionality in the form of a clinical reminder to prompt beta blocker titration in primary care teams within the US Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system. We used a series of qualitative studies to explore design, undertake formative evaluation, and assess acceptance of the prototype reminder. We used causal loops to explore reinforcement of facilitators and barriers within both the healthcare system and the care team. The views
