Abstract for: Vignettes Apparent in Surviving Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma [Which May Help Others]

We present a story of being diagnosed with an imminently fatal disease and how System Dynamics tools were used to aid with the battle for recovery. After a brief description of the clinical setting, we discuss how behavior over time charting, stock and flow modeling of drug concentrations, and causal loop diagramming of psychosocial determinants of recovery were applied. Based upon the utility of these tools, we conclude with a call to action to the SDS community. We must create important applications of inside the skin dynamic modeling which have the potential to revolutionize individualized medicine.
