Abstract for: China Chapter Annual Meeting

The general election of the SD Professional Committee was conducted in late 2015 in Beijing together with the annual conference of SD in China. The SD chapter hosted a delegation from Taiwan Feng Chia University in April, 2015. A meeting on the exchange of training and development of SD both in mainland China and Taiwan was conducted at Tongji University. China Systems Engineering Society initiated a project "2014-2015 report on advances in System Science and Systems Engineering". As an important branch, SD Professional Committee has been involved in the project and finished the report on SD development. Two review meetings were organized in August and September, 2015 in Guangzhou and Beijing. Below is what China Chapter plans to perform in 2016. -host a parallel session during the annual conference of China’s System Engineering Society in October, 2016. -hold the 2016 annual conference of SD in China: Opportunity and Challenge which will focus on model validation, the combination of SD with other methodologies and the object of study. -develop SD course in the MOOC platform in China and explore the possibility of cooperation with SD organization to develop Micro class. -Revise and publish the third version of the System Dynamics Text in China.
