Abstract for: Using a Customer Pipeline Model: a hands-on simulation exercise and including feedback from students in a university course

This workshop provides an overview of our use of a customer pipeline model in a strategic management class, and presents the feedback collected from students. We hope to make this tool available to other instructors and researchers by presenting the assignment and the feedback, and facilitating a hands-on run through the simulation exercise with the audience, with a debrief at the end. We hope this modeling workshop will ultimately lead to better understanding and correspondingly better teaching, and management, responses to these classic strategic issues of growth.
