Abstract for: Adversarial Dynamics: Coupled Reversals in Asynchronous Conflicts

Adversarial dynamics form the core of a wide range of social conflicts, but these dynamics are deeply contextual and, accordingly, a challenge to model. The present study seeks to provide type-theoretical definitions for adversarial dynamics that can provide a link from the broadest concepts to the most detailed tactics. We illustrate this strategy by addressing the area of transportation security in extensive depth, including the way in which it is shaped by strategies of contention.
