The forming of Psychology Chapter was initiated by Marc Abrams and Ralph Levine. It became a chapter of the  SD society in 2006. This poster describes our current activities. We have established a Yahoo Group for posting messages and depositing important papers and the models of members and others for discussion. We are also experimenting with audio and visual conferences. We are currently discussing among other things a control theoretical approach to understanding psychological processes. A control framework may also lead to the use of SD in perhaps different ways than it has been used in the past. We are interested in understanding how to better introduce and utilize psychological
phenomenon in our system dynamics models. We are also attempting to encourage people from the social sciences to utilize SD in their research and work, and for system dynamicists to utilize psychological processes in their models, if appropriate and insightful.
