Abstract for:The best Schooldays Ever: Using systems based pervasive games for teaching in Norway

In a 2nd year game technology class on System Thinking we wanted the students to create a Pervasive Educational Game to teach Sustainability and Systems Thinking to elementary school children, and then playtest it on 5th and 7th-graders on a local elementary school.  We then wanted to study the children’s ability to understand the principles of System Thinking, but also their motivation, the learning outcomes from the game and their creativity in problem solving.
