Abstract for:Strategic Dynamic Thinking to Manage Public Order in Colombia: A Framework to Improve Post-Conflict´s Security

Security in Post-conflict zones is a priority in Colombia. However, strategists have difficulties to understand how to keep low Public Order Incidents. We used System Dynamics and an Strategic Point of View to develop a frame for learning about Public Order Incidents. We develop a Working Dynamic Hypothesis and a Simulation Model to develop understanding about the problem. We found that Public Order Incidents can be explained as a consequence of a very limited perspective about the conflict. The strategies on resources like Members produced oscillations in Public Order Incidents.
