Abstract for: Technical issues in modeling of energy and water problems

This is a real-world practice session/workshop focused on the technical issues of modeling energy and water problems. This session will introduce energy and water concepts such as capacity utilization, co-flows of installations and capacity, construction delays, water use versus water consumption, and technical issues relating to how hydrologists model water problems. We will also examine extensions to geographical information systems (GIS) use in system dynamics models. The session/workshop will be managed by a team from Sandia National Laboratories and MindsEye Computing, LLC.
